As newly appointed head of the Lycée français Saint Louis de Stockholm, I wish you all, students, parents, teachers a very good school year 2011 within our school.

I hope that the newcomers, who, as I do, integrate the Lycée français for the first time in September will adapt well to Sweden, a new way of life and a new school. Welcome back to all the others who already know our school well.

My first and main endeavour will be to enable each and everyone to work in a serene atmosphere, dedicated to dialogue, centered on our students, their achievements, personal progress and development. Together with the board of Trustees and the Administrative board I wish to keep up the excellent work that has been done since 1963.

All of our teachers are highly dedicated to helping our students obtain the best results in the exams they take : last year's exam results speak for themselves : 100% at the DNB and 100% at the baccalaureat.

So together, this year, let's work hand in hand to help our students become citizens of the future, confident in themselves and in the lives they are building, supported by the entire school community. Throughout the schoolyear, I will encourage the staff to help our students, stimulate them and provide all that is necessary for each to thrive and achieve personal excellence.
