Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais Saint Louis de Stockholm (LFSL) is still looking for a few families willing to host a high school student aged 15 to 18 during the 2026\u20132027 school year.\n\n\n\nAs a reminder, this program allows students enrolled in the French educational system to spend one academic year at LFSL in an international French Swedish environment.\n\n\n\nA rewarding cultural and human experience\n\n\n\nHosting an international student means:\n\n\n\n\nsharing your daily life and culture;\n\n\n\nenjoying an international experience without leaving Stockholm;\n\n\n\ncontributing to the personal growth of a motivated and independent young person;\n\n\n\ntaking part in an innovative French Swedish educational project.\n\n\n\n\nLFSL is primarily looking for families living in Stockholm within a reasonable distance of the school, with an available private bedroom, who are open to international exchange and willing to share Swedish culture and lifestyle. No particular proficiency in French is required. Designed as both a life experience and an academic journey, the \u201cOne Year in Stockholm\u201d program aims to offer young people aged 15 to 18 a long-term immersion in a new country, a new culture, and a new daily life.\n\n\n\nGrowing in an international environment\n\n\n\nLiving and studying in Stockholm for a year means discovering:\n\n\n\n\na different and distinctive educational and living environment;\n\n\n\na society strongly focused on autonomy, trust, and international openness;\n\n\n\na naturally multilingual daily life, where English, French, and Swedish are used side by side every day;\n\n\n\na safe city centered around nature, innovation, and quality of life.\n\n\n\n\nComing to live and study abroad without one\u2019s family is also an opportunity to develop independence, adapt to a new environment, build intercultural communication skills, and grow within a demanding and stimulating international context.\n\n\n\nAn enriching experience for the entire school community\n\n\n\nThis program will not only benefit the visiting students. It will also strengthen the international outlook of LFSL and further enrich the human, linguistic, and cultural exchanges that have shaped our school community for more than fifty years.
