Welcome to Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais Saint Louis de Stockholm!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A French school in Sweden, a Swedish school and an international school: this unique identity lies at the heart of LFSL\u2019s educational project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From first class through upper secondary school, our students grow up surrounded by several languages, cultures and different ways of learning and understanding the world. Our ambition is to provide them with a demanding, multilingual and open education, grounded in the French curriculum, our deep-rooted connection to Swedish society, and the richness of an international school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quality of the work carried out at LFSL has recently been recognised through the renewal of the school\u2019s accreditation by the French Ministry of Education, following a process that highlighted the many strengths of our school. Two further recognitions have been added: the EFE3D \u2013 French school abroad committed to sustainable development \u2013 Level 2 certification, and pHARe Level 1 certification, which supports our commitment to preventing and combating bullying and harassment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our membership of the French international education network, coordinated by AEFE <\/a>(Agence pour l\u2019Enseignement Fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9tranger<\/em>), is an essential asset. Beyond its impact on the identity of our school and the many opportunities it provides for the professional development and further training of our staff, it enriches the educational and pedagogical experience of our students and teams through numerous projects and encounters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the same spirit, this year we are welcoming the first six participants in the \u201cOne Year in Stockholm\u201d<\/a> programme. They have come from France and from other schools within the network to spend a year immersed in Swedish school and culture, while in turn enriching our community through their backgrounds and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exceptional French-Swedish environment in which LFSL operates also offers our students many opportunities to learn in different ways. Projects developed with our French, Swedish and international partners enable them to put their linguistic, intercultural and pluricultural skills into practice and to enjoy particularly enriching, and sometimes truly exceptional, experiences. The news and events<\/a> of this new school year already provide some wonderful examples of this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026\u20132027 school year will also be an important year at LFSL as we prepare for the future. Together with our students, staff, parents and partners, we will undertake a review and rewriting of our school project in order to define together the priorities that will guide our work over the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This reflection will, of course, place considerable emphasis on the success and well-being of every member of our community. It resonates with the theme chosen by AEFE for this year: \u201cPromote, prevent, support: let\u2019s take action together for our health.\u201d Health, particularly mental health, the school climate, and the well-being of both students and staff will therefore be at the heart of our reflection and our actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his back-to-school message, available below, the new Director General of AEFE, Alexandre Morois, recalls the ambitions that bring together the schools in the network and invites all members of their communities to continue building a school that is academically demanding, inclusive, multilingual and open to the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
