“Keep Sweden Clean” 2020

LFSL participates in “Keep Sweden Clean” 2020.

The Swedish teachers in elementary school paid attention to Keep Sweden Clean Day, which this year was held on 19 September, by bringing the classes CM1 SIS, CE1, CE2 and CP out to pick up rubbish last Friday.

To sensitize children and young people against littering is a good pedagogical starting point in learning about the environment and sustainable development. This year, more than 80,000 people participated throughout Sweden, from north to south, both young and elderly persons.

Swedish teachers Jenny Lizot, Ann Vuille-dit-Bille and Sandrine Sassi-Nylén were out with their Swedish classes all day, from 08:00 to 15.00 Below you see a picture collage that shows some of what was picked up!

Håll Sverige Rent (“Keep Sweden Clean”) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1983 by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and Returpack and works to reduce litter in society.
