On Saturday September 7, the Rugby Club organized the seventh Rugby Festival for the 2019 season.
This is the yearly opportunity to receive rugby clubs in the region of Mälardalen on our sports field at Stora Essingen.
Teams of young people between the ages of 7 and 15 played with each other with a lot of empathy and great commitment before it was time to eat burgers together during the traditional third half.
This was the last gathering before the Swedish Youth Championships.
With almost 40 games played, around 250 players on the field and volunteers to take care of the players, organize, plan and conduct the tournament, it became a very successful day for everyone!
For the players, it was primarily an opportunity to compete against other teams before the long-awaited trip to Vänersborg for the Swedish Youth Championships 2019 at the end of September.
