Esther Duflo was the recipient of this year’s Nobel Prize in Economy. She came to the Lycée Francais Saint Louis last Friday, December 6th, and our students had the privilege to meet her as she was sharing her experience.
She’s the second woman to ever receive that prize, along with two American colleagues, , Abhijit Banerjee and Michael Kremer. They have been working on reducing poverty on a worldwide scale.
Esther was kind enough to participate in an interview with three aspiring journalists from our CM2 classes. This was part of our webradio project.
