LFSL – Information Covid-19

The Swedish Public Health Agency has issued new guidelines.

It is recommended that children and adolescents with symptoms of covid-19 be tested.

The Swedish Public Health Agency recommends that children and adolescents who show symptoms of covid-19 be tested, so that they can return to school more quickly.

The Swedish Public Health Agency has previously recommended that children and young people stay at home as long as they show symptoms and do not return to school until two days after the symptoms have disappeared. But the new recommendations say that children in élémentaire and in secondary can be tested if they show symptoms that could indicate covid-19. That way, if they test negative and their general health allows it, they can go back to school faster, even if they have mild symptoms.
