Lycée Français Saint Louis’ New Logo

The arrival of spring brings a wind of news for Lycée Français Saint Louis in Stockholm. LFSL rejuvenates its visual identity and launches a new logo and website.

An oak tree has replaced Saint Louis crowned head in this new design, which is more modern and highlights the values for LFSL: Respect, well-being and success.

LFSL is proud of its connection to France and wanted the new logo to be linked to the name “Saint Louis”. From generation to generation, the image of the French king is often associated with an oak tree, where he is known to have done justice in a just and impartial manner.

This change also aims to further strengthen its belonging to Sweden and its status as a Swedish International School. In Sweden, the oak tree is emblematic and regarded as “the King of all trees”, respected and highly valued.

On the initiative Laurent Cantuel, Headmaster, a ceremony was organized around the launch of the new identity. The President of the Board, Mr Henrik Hansson, the Vice-President, Mr Yves Chantereau, and other members of the board, parents and staff were present.
The school was also honored by the presence of Mr. David Cvach, the French Ambassador in Sweden, who gave a pleasant speech on this new logo.
